Aims to reduce NSW greenhouse gas emissions associated with the production of electricity through project-based activities that offset the production of greenhouse gas emissions. Parties that have annual targets for emission reductions can purchase credits called NGACs (New South Wales Greenhouse Abatement Certificates) for their subsequent surrender in order to meet offset targets.
